Market Recap For November 2nd, 2021

Tuesday’s trading brought higher prices, as all major indices finished in the green and at new all-time highs.

In short, different day, but same result. The market forecast has remained the same because the market has continued to do the same thing: Move higher.

Yesterday’s Sector Performance

Materials and Real Estate finished at the top of yesterday’s market.

Energy and Consumer Discretionary both ended up in the red.

Five-Day Sector Performance

Consumer Discretionary is still leading over the past week.

Energy is now alone at the bottom.

ETF Trade Watch

Materials Select Sector SPDR (XLB)

SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (XBI)

The Materials sector ETF, the XLB, made a move through resistance, and now appears to be headed towards new highs.

With the Russell finally breaking to new highs, biotech stocks will likely perform well, as demonstrated by the XBI.

Good luck!
